<- Go Back Civic Disability Services Charity Golf Day Civic Disability Services hosted its Inaugural Charity Golf Day on Thursday.
There was a good rollup of golfers who experienced a fine warm day to play golf on one of the better golf courses in the Sutherland/St George area.
From the feedback we have received, it seems that combining this type of activity with its competitive yet ‘fun’ environment links in a very positive way to the act of donating to the needs of our service users.
The financial return of $13,500 net from this day has contributed directly towards our goal of purchasing a much needed disability fitted bus to convey the individuals in our programs between their homes, workplace, day programs and / or the community.
We will keep you appraised of future events and hope that you might continue to participate in our activities and further, that you might consider becoming a partner in our endeavours to meet the full and real cost of care for fellow Australians with a disability supported by Civic Disability Services Limited.
We look forward to a continuing and mutually productive relationship.
We have tentatively set a date for our 2009 Golf Day which will be Thursday 12 March 2009 at Woolooware Golf Club. Please mark your diary for the proposed date.
