<- Go Back Official Opening of Kingsway Village 28th July 2008 Civic Residential Services receives funding from DADHC, FaHCSIA, and the Dept of Health and Ageing. It operates 16 group homes, provides centre based respite, flexible respite options, outreach services, day programs, attendant care and a community participation program for adults with a disability. It also provides centre based respite for the aged on a planned and emergency basis.
Civic recognised the need for Kingsway Village as a purpose built facility and for the services now delivered therein by our skilled, dedicated and qualified staff and the contribution this makes to meet the overall needs in the community.
Following years of planning, negotiation and construction, Kingsway Village was completed as a SEPP 5 Housing Development and has been designed to meet the special needs of the residents.
We take this opportunity to acknowledge distinctly, the conditional contribution from Sutherland Shire Council towards the construction of Kingsway Village.
