Supported Employment

Civic Disability Services Limited supports around 100 employees working in Civic Industries modern factory warehouse complex in Caringbah.

We have established jobs doing the work for our long term customers and regularly have new opportunities to support our new customers coming to Civic Industries with new contracts.

Supported employment is a great opportunity for people with a disability who:

Want to work with individualised support to achieve their vocational goals

Are looking for a safe environment to try employment for the first time
Need support adjusting to a return to the workforce
Want to develop skills and build confidence to transition to open employment in the future

Civic can provide:

Supported employment from 8 hours up to 35 hours per week.
Work experience to enable students to understand basic work skills while still at school.
Access to onsite support for assistance with work, training and personal issues that may arise.
Continuous development through regular Individual Employment Plans
The opportunity to enter into a traineeship to complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Transport and Logistics (Warehouse and Storage Operations).
