Transition to Work is a two year program that assists school leavers with a disability to develop skills that will assist them to move on to employment or vocational education and training. This is achieved through a program which includes access to work experience, Nationally Accredited training courses and internal work / life skills training in areas which will help participants achieve their employment goals. Each person develops an individual plan which details their own personal goals and they then receive tailored support from professional trainers to develop the skills required to transition to the employment of their choice. Civic staff will facilitate the development of the skills and qualifications necessary to gain long term employment and assistance to access both Supported and/ or Open Employment.

All the units covered in the course are designed to provide valuable work and life skills which will help each person to achieve long term, satisfying and productive employment.
Work experience is also offered in a variety of job roles within our own business, Civic Industries.
