Post School Options (PSO)

A personalised program for individuals with high support needs. Activities involve promoting community inclusion, new experiences and enhanced quality of life.

Eligibility must be approved by ADHC


Life Choices

An ADHC funded program for adults aged between 25 and 54 who have previously not had program support. Assists individuals to participate in a range of social and educational activities based on individual needs.

Active Ageing

An ADHC funded program assisting adults aged 55-64 years to facilitate pathways and future planning for this age group. Individuals participate in purposeful activities developing social networks which promote an active and healthy life.

Community Participation

An innovative, educational program for school leavers with a disability. Programs are conducted in the community and provide opportunities for young people with a disability to enhance life skills and experience community life. Personalised programs are developed with each person and their family to assist in the transition from school to adult life.

The program offers:

  • Flexible attendance – Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4pm and based on each person's funding package
  • Person Centred Planning – the individual and their family drive the planning process. Individual programs are developed for each person focusing on their personal needs and interests
  • Group Activities – provide opportunities for individual goals to be achieved within a group setting. High staff ratios ensure that individual time is allocated to everyone throughout the day
  • Individual programs – provide specific learning objectives for an individual’s goals. Support staff encourage and promote learning at the person’s own pace, to increase the individual's independence
  • Community access – daily activities are provided to promote community inclusion and new experiences
  • Cultural recognition – respecting cultural diversity, sharing cultural knowledge and experiences, and employing staff from a range of cultural backgrounds

Skill Building Programs, Social and Recreational Activities


Domestic skills; gym; swimming; travel training; volunteer work; leisure; recreational; social and cultural activities; sensory activities – tactile, sound and sight based; food preparation; money skills; computer skills; decision – informed lifestyle choices; personal care – support and development; personal presentation; community integration; performing arts – drama and music; craft.
